About The Position
We are looking for an experienced Marine Fire Suppression Technician to join our team! This position involves working on vessels of all sizes and performing the inspection, testing, maintenance, and installation of fire extinguishers, fire suppression systems (including CO2, Clean Agent, and Water Mist systems) and fire equipment (such as SCBAs, fire hoses, fire suits, etc.) on marine vessels. The technician must have a thorough understanding of NFPA, manufacturer, and local fire codes for fire extinguishers. The role requires collaboration with the General Manager, Account Managers, and dispatcher to fulfill jobs as scheduled, as well as effective communication with customers in a professional manner reflective of company values. Timely reporting via ServiceTrade, Building Reports, and corresponding AHJ is also essential. The technician will drive a company vehicle to and from jobsites and must adhere to company Fleet Safety protocols while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
