About The Position
Temp Responsibilities: - Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment - Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers - Identify electrical problems using various testing devices - Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools - Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code - Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as architects and plumbers, to ensure electrical systems are installed properly - Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions
Requirements
- Proven experience as an marine electrician
- Knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Familiarity with calipers, precision measuring instruments, and soldering tools
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
- Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve electrical issues
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions
