About The Position
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Electricians for projects located in the Tampa, FL area . This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $32/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope: Install and upgrade power distribution and communication systems Solve complex and dynamic problems in the field, including those involving VFDs and PLCs Design and build solutions for automation needs and hazardous area environments Read electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals, and ability to create simple diagrams when needed Other tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Previous experience in electrical system design, power distribution, automation, instrumentation, or controls
- PLC programming experience or a strong understanding of PLC operation and troubleshooting
- Analog and digital motor control experience
- Proficiency with electrical equipment and hand tools
Responsibilities
