About The Position
The Port of New Orleans (PORTNOLA) is a diverse deep-water port uniquely located on the Mississippi River near the Gulf of Mexico. We are looking for a Marine Dredge Captain. This position is located in Orleans Parish, within the Port of New Orleans jurisdiction therefore no travel is required outside of the parish. The position will require you to work at least 13.0 hours on Monday, Tuesday and 13.5 hours on Wednesday. Overtime is mostly seasonal depending on the river fluctuations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team of 16 people, ensuring smooth daily operations within the Port. You should also have experience in supervising teams, and the ability to manage long shifts.
