About The Position
Devall Diesel Services is seeking a Certified Marine Diesel & Generator Technician to support our expanding Houston-area operations. Candidates must hold OEM certification in one or more of the following: Cummins, John Deere, Kohler, or equivalent diesel power systems manufacturer. This is a field-based position with a company-provided service truck. Technicians must be willing to work overtime and participate in on-call rotations.
Requirements
- OEM Certification (Cummins, John Deere, Kohler, or equivalent)
- Strong diesel diagnostics experience (marine preferred)
- Ability to work independently in the field
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid TWIC Card
- Must pass DOT drug screening, DOT physical, and extensive background check
- Willingness to work overtime and on-call rotation
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair marine diesel engines and generator systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service
- Complete OEM warranty and service documentation
- Respond to service calls throughout Houston and Gulf Coast region
- Maintain professional communication with customers
- Maintain company vehicle and tools
