About The Position

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Crane Operators for projects located in and around Oakland, CA. This is a full time opportunity with a pay range of up to $40/hour based on experience plus $150/Per Diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope: Operate ship-to-shore gantry cranes or yard cranes to safely lift, move, and position cargo containers between ships, trucks, and storage areas, following terminal procedures and safety standards Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections of cranes and related equipment Report any mechanical issues, defects, or malfunctions to maintenance personnel to ensure continuous and safe operations Communicate effectively via radio and visual signals with signalers, stevedores, and vessel crews Align movements to maintain workflow efficiency and prevent collisions or damage during loading and unloading operations Other tasks as assigned

Responsibilities

Operate ship-to-shore gantry cranes or yard cranes to safely lift, move, and position cargo containers between ships, trucks, and storage areas, following terminal procedures and safety standards
