About The Position
We are seeking an experienced 1st Class Marine Electrician to join our team in Mobile, AL. This position is for local shipyard electricians with a strong background in marine electrical systems who can work independently and deliver quality, safety-focused results.
Requirements
- Minimum 4-5 years of shipyard marine electrical experience
- Strong understanding of marine electrical systems and layouts
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Safety-focused with attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Install, terminate, and troubleshoot marine electrical systems
- Work on switchboards, panels, control cabinets, and related equipment
- Pull, route, and terminate cable in shipyard environments
- Ensure all work meets marine standards and safety requirements
