About The Position

This position is responsible for preparing marinades, marinating meat according to specifications, and contributing to the overall flavor and quality of our products.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of different marinades, seasoning profiles, and marination techniques preferred.
  • Previous experience in marination or food processing preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety, quality control and hygiene practices is a plus.
  • Ability to handle cutting tools and equipment.
  • Ability to work in cold and/or refrigerated environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and regulated environment.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English with strong verbal communication skills. Knowledge of Spanish is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Measure and mix ingredients to create marinades according to required standards.
  • Coat meat products with marinades using various methods, ensuring even distribution.
  • Monitor marination times and temperatures to achieve optimal flavor and texture.
  • Load ingredients into the mixing equipment in the correct order.
  • Operate marination mixing machines, ensuring proper settings for each batch.
  • Monitor and adjust machine settings as necessary to achieve consistent product quality.
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet daily production targets.
  • Record production data and report any deviations or issues to supervisors.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the marination area.
  • Other duties as assigned.
