About The Position

This seasonal position will end October 2025. Our Marina is a focal point of the resort, with three piers extending from the main breakwater in front of the resort, with our 150-slip marina. The Marina Dock Hand is responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the marina, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests and boaters. This role involves assisting with docking and fueling boats, maintaining marina facilities, and providing excellent customer service to all visitors.

Requirements

• Must be available to lift a moderate amount of weight
• Must be available to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays - start time and end times may vary
• Preferred to have a valid driver license to operate and transport guests in golf carts
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with docking, securing, and launching boats
• Provide line handling, tie-ups, and pump-out services as needed
• Maintain dock cleanliness: sweep, remove trash, clean dock boxes and marina areas
• Monitor marina equipment and report maintenance needs or safety concerns
• Deliver ice, fuel, and other amenities to vessels as requested
• Communicate marina policies and assist with guest inquiries
• Maintain accurate records for guest boat slips, reservations, and marina services
• Ensure safety procedures and emergency protocols are followed on the dock
• Provide support for marina events or special activities as needed
