Marina Attendant Team Lead
About The Position
The Marina Attendant Team Leader is responsible for the daily maintenance of the marina area, and scheduled maintenance on all equipment and rental craft. Provides facility patrons with proper boat rentals and safety information. Performs regular shoreline maintenance. Enforces employee regulations in the absence of the Manager on Duty, ensuring completion of all tasks, and maintenance of a safe work environment. Operates support craft on the lake, in response to calls relating to batteries, motors, and enforcement of safety policies. Monitors lake and weather conditions via observation and weather radar, and warns patrons of potential safety concerns. Initiates the weather warning alarm system, and monitors equipment logs to locate patrons in the event of an emergency. Participates in Marina Attendant mentoring, in an effort to train in the proper operation and procedures of the rental operation. Performs heavy lifting tasks up to 50 pounds. Performs tasks that will require walking, bending, stooping, rowing, peddling, standing, kneeling, climbing, reaching and sitting.
Requirements
- One year of experience as an Independence Grove Marina Attendant
- Exhibits proficiency in motorboat operation
- Experience operating a variety of watercraft, including outboard/inboard motors and paddle craft
