About The Position

Responsible for the supervision and instruction of the color guard. Designs routines in conjunction with the Marching/Pep/Jazz Band Director. Maintains and inventories uniforms and supplies. Collects and processes data for awards program. Supervises students while traveling. Assists the Activities Director with the budgeting and material requisition process. Responsible for coordinating fundraising activities with Activities Director. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• One year of previous marching band experience
• Eye-hand, mind-eye coordination, hearing, intermittent repetitive motion with wrists, hands, and fingers
• The ability to bend, stoop, walk, talk, throw, grasp, pull, and carry
• Skilled in organization, public relations, and time management
• Ability to interpret marching band formations

Nice To Haves

• One year field show color guard participation preferred
