About The Position

At Raytheon, the foundation of everything we do is rooted in our values and a higher calling - to help our nation and allies defend freedoms and deter aggression. We bring the strength of more than 100 years of experience and renowned engineering expertise to meet the needs of today's mission and stay ahead of tomorrow's threat. Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. The Maritime Capability (MARCAP) is a new skywave over the horizon radar system dedicated to maritime and ground wide area surveillance. MARCAP incorporates system architecture features which deliver a new level of non-queued low velocity target detection sensitivity and wide area semi-autonomous surveillance. MARCAP incorporates and help to greatly expand the maritime sensitivity and surveillance of over-the-horizon radar. The key technology features include low phase noise high power amplifier hardware, wideband arbitrary high spectral purity digital waveform generators, wideband multifunction direct digital receivers, advanced space-time adaptive signal processing, stare mode operation, and low threshold track-before detect tracking algorithms. MARCAP will be the first of kind as a skywave over-the-horizon radar dedicated to maritime and ground surveillance.
