About The Position

QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting a MAPS New Equipment Installer (Technician) to join our team to support our customer, Project Manager Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PM PNT). This is a remote position. Duties: Provides field support services related to troubleshooting and repair of PNT systems, performs software updates, and mentors soldiers on maintenance of the system. Facilitates higher level repair of equipment. Ensures support equipment is regularly calibrated and maintained. Troubleshoots and repairs systems, perform software updates. Installs, modifies, wires, fabricates and maintains systems. Distinguishes between hardware and software problems in multi-vendor systems.

Requirements

Detail-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret
AA/AS degree from an accredited college, or two-year technical school required. Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology, preferred.
Six (6) years of total experience with the testing of electronic equipment, to include four (4) years of experience in the testing and troubleshooting of electronic subsystem installations in military systems.
Two (2) additional years of experience can be substituted for degree requirement.
