About The Position

USE YOUR POWER FOR PURPOSE The Training Manager/TL is key member of the MAP Operations team at the Kalamazoo site.  The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining and executing a cGMP compliant training program and providing regular updates regarding the status of the program and its team members. Other responsibilities will be to assist the 1st shift Mgr/TL in the hiring, onboarding and training of colleagues to build the MAP operations floor team from 4 to 35 colleagues by 2030. WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE In this role, you will: Develop and maintain defined Training offerings in compliance with good manufacturing practices (cGMP) guidelines, as well as federal, state, and local regulations. Key Responsibilities include: Ensuring compliance with all regulations and guidelines including safety, quality and environmental. Developing the vision, strategy and flexibility to be change agile for Training system for the MAP project. Partner with operations and support teams to provide updates to operations SOPs / OJTs /Curricula. Create and support prioritization of the Training systems for each key work centers and develop an implementation plan. Managing operations related to all Training sources. Key member of the PCT IMEx team focused on CI / TPM opportunities to support continued training improvement opportunities. Work with technical support staff to trouble shoot technology issues and identify and implement process improvements. Maintain working relationship with leadership and SME’s across all DP units to allow planned responses to training gaps as a way to support all of Drug Product training needs. Support operations teams by being familiar with and having a working knowledge of all processes and equipment for the MAP facility. Demonstrate integrity, initiative, judgment, and accountability in day-to-day work activities in addition to strong planning/organizational skills. Demonstrate technical skills required to support training design and documentation.

Requirements

  • Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of experience; OR a master's degree with at least 2 years of experience; OR a PhD with 0+ years of experience; OR as associate's degree with 8 years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven ability to contribute to and lead project teams.
  • Demonstrated capability to work effectively in a cross-cultural environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Experience in managing multiple projects and ongoing work activities.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, cGMPs, and company policies.

  • Ability to create and maintain training plans, materials, curricula, and lead training transformation/training efficiency projects.
