About The Position

The Forklift Driver at Magna is responsible for operating industrial trucks, such as forklifts and tuggers, to move products, equipment, or materials within the production departments, warehouse, or storage yard. This role emphasizes safety, compliance with operational procedures, and effective inventory control, ensuring that customer, people, and investor goals are balanced and met.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Required
• Valid Driver's License

• Previous experience driving in a manufacturing environment
• Dependable and trustworthy with a focus on operating forklifts in a safe manner

Responsibilities

• Follow, comply, and enforce all operational procedures/policies as stated in the employee Environmental Health and Safety programs (Magna and OSHA Standards).
• Safely position forks/lifting platform under, over, or around loaded racks and transport load to designated area.
• Use knowledge of principles of operating safety rules and practices.
• Perform scanning and proper inventory control.
• Utilize truck stability factors with and without a load.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the capabilities of the equipment and attachments.
