About The Position

The position is located at the Scotts Valley Headquarters in Scotts Valley, CA, and is a full-time role. The working hours are from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. The primary responsibilities include assisting in various manufacturing processes such as mixing, drying, milling, sanitation, tablet compression, coating, receiving, storing, and shipping of products. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, dependable, and interested in a career in the nutraceutical/dietary supplement industry.

Requirements

  • Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and use sound judgment.
  • Punctual and reliable in work attendance.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to read and write legibly in English.
  • Ability to work multiple shifts and/or schedules including weekends.
  • Previous work experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Able to stand for long periods and lift 50 pounds.
  • Willing to learn various work processes.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changes in orders and tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with plant sanitation, including sweeping, washing, and emptying waste containers.
  • Meet all safety expectations, including wearing required personal protective equipment.
  • Work in a team environment and assist others as needed.
  • Maintain good housekeeping with sanitation as a critical issue.
  • Cross-train throughout the facility in all aspects of high-speed manufacturing.
  • Clean all equipment using current sanitation practices.
  • Communicate and interact with others in a manner consistent with the company's philosophies.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
  • Follow instructions, including standard manufacturing procedures and processes.
  • Assist in the manufacturing of products on a production line.
  • Comply with all Safety, GMP, Quality, Plant Policies, and food safety requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain materials and equipment at the start, during, and end of production.
  • Reseal and return unused materials to the designated location in the warehouse.
  • Operate industrial power equipment.
  • Fill in for other positions as needed.
