Manufacturing Trainee (Machinist 1)

Our Waukesha location has an opening for a 2 nd shift Manufacturing Trainee (Machinist) position. This is an entry-level role that requires NO EXPERIENCE in manufacturing. Shift: 2:30pm - 11:00pm The starting pay for this position is $21/hour plus $1/hour shift differential. Employees are eligible for two, 50-cent increases over the first year if they pass the competency assessments. We offer two separate performance/wage reviews within your first year of employment. The opportunity for growth and advancement depends on individual performance. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $21 - $22 hourly. Ultimately, in determining pay, we will consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors. Requirements
- No manufacturing experience required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent

- Ability to become certified to operate a sit down forklift
- Ability to learn and become proficient with inventory management system

- Able to meet physical requirements of the job, including but not limited to Lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Infrequent pushing/pulling of cart
- Positioning material with the assistance of carts and overhead cranes
- Standing/walking up to 8 hours per shift
- Vision abilities include close vision in the inspection of the work
