About The Position

You will be the Manufacturing Tooling Design Engineer Sr for our team, joining the tool design team in the design and development of manufacturing tooling and equipment. Our team is responsible for creating cost-effective solutions for internal customers and promoting continuous improvement of design, fabrication, and implementation processes for tooling. As the Manufacturing Tooling Design Engineer Sr, you will be responsible for managing team priorities, ensuring effective communication among design team and internal customers, and applying knowledge of manufacturing processes to develop cost-effective solutions. Your responsibilities will include: Design and development of manufacturing tooling and equipment Managing priorities and ensuring effective communication among design team and internal customers Applying knowledge of manufacturing processes to develop cost-effective solutions for internal customers Interpreting complex drawing requirements and creating detailed drawing views of assemblies Setting up, troubleshooting, and proofing machine/tooling/equipment We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Tooling Design Engineer who can lead our design team and drive innovation in manufacturing tooling and equipment. Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience/combined education
  • Ability to interpret complex drawing requirements
  • General manufacturing process knowledge
  • Proficiency with ASME Y14.5
  • Proficiency with PTC Creo or equivalent
  • Experience with assembly modeling and creating detailed drawing views of assemblies
  • Experience with machine/tooling/equipment setup, troubleshooting, and proofing
  • This facility requires special access so all candidates must be US Citizens.
