Stefanini is looking for a Manufacturing Test Technician in Batesville, IN (Onsite). The successful candidate will play a critical role in the design, development, and production of innovative manufacturing test systems. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical and electronic devices, mechanical devices, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Test Engineers to understand design requirements and translate them into manufacturing test processes.
  • Assemble and integrate various components of automated test systems, including hardware, software, and instrumentation.
  • Build and support validation of test manufacturing processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Operate and maintain test manufacturing equipment, making necessary adjustments to optimize production efficiency and quality.
  • Participate in the improvement of test manufacturing processes, tools, and equipment to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the testing process.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance activities on manufacturing test process and document work per required quality procedures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of manufacturing processes, equipment settings, and production data.
  • Execute test system validation protocols to ensure test system accuracy, reliability and consistency of results.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure product quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Associate degree or 3+ years of experience in a related field (e.g., Electronics, Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, etc.).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the medical device industry.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and regulatory requirements, including FDA regulations.
  • Experience in using electronic test equipment, such as multimeters and oscilloscopes, as well as hand tools, soldering and assembly equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience in using software, such as LabVIEW, TestStand, or other test automation tools is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and manufacturing.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement, including the ability to accurately read and interpret technical documentation, such as schematics and test procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
  • Experience in the medical device industry.
  • Experience in using software, such as LabVIEW, TestStand, or other test automation tools.
  • Competitive salary range of $20.00 - $24.00 per hour.
