Job Description Summary This position requires inspecting, testing, and troubleshooting equipment used on aircraft. You must have an AA degree or relative experience from either the military and or equivalent industry. Five years’ of experience preferred or equivalent. You must have good verbal and written communication skills and must be able to add and subtract decimals and fractions. This position requires quality and efficiency at the source of all testing. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Must be able to troubleshoot faults in electronic circuits using various types of test equipment e.g., Special Test Equipment "STE", Automated Test Equipment "ATE", data analyzers, microprocessors emulators, circuit testers, oscilloscopes, and multi-meters. Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required. This position normally receives general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new assignments. Must be able to troubleshoot to board/component level analog/digital with some assistance. Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and understanding symbols, flag notes, and general notes. Must be able to read and interpret production illustrations (PI), component maintenance manual (CMM), wiring diagrams and schematics. Must be able to work with others as part of a team which includes giving and receiving feedback, assisting others in completion of tasks; possess interpersonal, listening, and participation skills.
