About The Position

Requirements

• Experience with troubleshooting avionics systems specifically FAC and VSWR testing.
• Software programming specific to FAC.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of avionics aviation experience.
• F-16 Avionics experience.
• Yellow / Green Belt - Lean.
• Experience developing work instructions / test documents.
• Experience with systems engineering and production operations to quantify, validate, and coordinate requirements.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Apply expertise in Fault Accommodation Controls (FAC) and Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR) testing requirements to ensure the integrity and performance of F-16 systems.
• Create and implement detailed Manufacturing Test Procedures (MTPs) from engineering specifications and releases to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain Standard Work documentation to streamline processes, enhance consistency, and improve efficiency.
• Lead advanced troubleshooting efforts for electrical, avionics, and systems integration issues to minimize downtime and ensure product quality.
• Collaborate with Systems and Design Engineering teams to verify and validate engineering requirements during testing phases.
• Innovate and refine testing methodologies to boost production efficiency, improve reliability, and enhance the performance of the F-16 fighter jet.
