The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Manufacturing Specialist you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Identifying and evaluating manufacturing process and equipment deficiencies, drive solutions and determine priority and implement a path to execution. Providing guidance, leadership to plant level personnel in best practices for process and equipment operation as well as preventative maintenance. Providing support towards work order planning and capital project justifications. Determine equipment improvement priority levels and best path for resolving including repair or replacement. Using data-based tools and methodologies to support their recommendations and be expected to drive appropriate actions. This position has responsibilities to utilize their expertise and project leadership skills to drive substantial improvements in process performance and equipment uptime. Leading operational excellence at our Little Rock, AR site through conscientious management and decisive actions in environment, health, safety, quality, manufacturing, cost, and employee relations. Leads and supports projects that have high impact on plant performance and yield. Ability to work effectively across multiple sites.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
  • Five (5) years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Engineering or manufacturing technical field in a private, public, government, or military environment
  • Five (5) years' experience in heavy industrial operations including equipment maintenance.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in mineral processing, manufacturing process & maintenance of heavy equipment
  • Experience with mining operations and related crushing and screening equipment
  • Experience engaging with production and maintenance organizations.
  • Self-starter/self-directed that leads with high energy and passion.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management.
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams and across multiple functions and disciplines.
  • Effective facilitation, communication, and teaching skills.
  • Ability to understand and apply analytical and statistical tools.
  • Experience and certification with Lean Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
  • Experience in operational excellence, lean implementation, and financial accounting.
  • Experience in Mining or heavy industrial applications
