As the Manufacturing Technology Manager, you will provide strategic leadership for all site technology, driving improvements in safety, productivity, reliability, and process innovation. This role blends hands‑on technical expertise with long‑term strategy as you guide technology development, support daily operations, and partner closely with teams across Operations, EHS, Supply Chain, R&D, Process Safety, and Continuous Improvement. You will be the catalyst for advancing automation, digitalization, and emerging technologies that move the site forward.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical preferred)
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Strong ability to drive change, manage diverse technical workloads, and lead problem‑solving
  • Solid understanding of Process Safety Management, quality systems, and continuous improvement principles

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in high‑hazard or complex manufacturing environments (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Lead technology strategy, coaching, and prioritization to support both short‑ and long‑term business goals.
  • Partner with Production, Supply Chain, and R&D to align technical resources and drive continuous improvement.
  • Oversee TEEP/OEE data analysis, capacity planning, and identification of automation and innovation opportunities.
  • Drive emerging technology development and collaborate with other sites and Centers of Excellence to leverage best practices.
  • Align team priorities with site operational goals and participate in daily leadership meetings.
  • Provide expert technical troubleshooting to sustain production performance and respond rapidly to operational issues.
  • Support capital planning, technology roadmaps, digitalization, and major/minor project execution.
  • Lead technology transfers, documentation, and support for R&D trials and sampling.
  • Champion DuPont’s Core Values and reinforce a culture of safety, accountability, and respect.
  • Lead and support Process Safety Management activities (PHA, MOC, PSSR).
  • Implement advanced controls and automation to enhance quality and reduce defects or reliability issues.
  • Conduct and support investigations, corrective actions, and improvements for safety and quality events.
  • Strengthen production methods, develop business cases, and support innovation and capital investments.
  • Monitor resource use, cost performance, waste reduction, and team alignment.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the MT team; manage staffing, performance expectations, feedback, and employee engagement.
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, and mentoring to build a strong technical talent pipeline.
