About the position
Eurofins Environment Radon Testing, a leader in radon test device manufacturing and analytical laboratory testing, is seeking to hire a full-time employee in the position of Manufacturing Technician. Radon gas is a naturally occurring radioactive gas which builds up to high concentrations in indoor environments and is the leading cause of lung cancer for nonsmokers. This position will support the manufacturing of testing devices and the laboratory’s ability to complete analytical testing to issue lab results to our customers. The Manufacturing Technician will operate equipment used to manufacture radon test kits. The position will also require that the technician spend a portion of their day operating the manufacturing equipment, and a portion of their day supporting other manufacturing operations, including assembly of product into retail packaging.
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment utilized in the manufacturing of the radon testing kits.
- Support production and assist in assembly of the final product into retail packaging.
- Produce target manufacturing goal established for each assigned shift.
- Ensure that quality meets requirements and specifications with each manufactured kit.
- Manufacture products expeditiously to enable effective downstream operations.
- Stand for the duration of the shift.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- HS Diploma
- Ability to stand on feet for full 8 hour shift
- Ability to lift 50 lbs on a repeated basis
- Fluency in Spanish is required
