About The Position

Performs the set-up, calibration, and testing of circuits, components, instruments and electromechanical assemblies. Works from diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to test, diagnose and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final systems including fault isolation on systems and equipment. Uses manufacturing, test, development or diagnostic equipment, including, but not limited to, test programs, digital multimeters, signal generators and specialized test apparatus in the diagnostics and testing of assemblies. May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment. May assist with root cause analysis of product failure modes. May perform simple repairs or component removal or replacement.

Requirements

• Quality minded/focused individual.
• Experience in an ISO/FDA/FAA work environment.
• Good hand and eye coordination.
• AS in Electronic Technology or 2 years of equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
• Perform visual inspection of components before assembly or test.
• Perform self-inspection of work completed before moving to the next step.
• Navigate through computer and test software.
• Identify electronic components, their function, and proper placement on a PCB.
• Use test equipment, including DMM (Digital Multi Meter) and oscilloscope.
• Troubleshoot failed units.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation and ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance with the company's CMS standards.
• Complete assignments on time as a self-starter.
• Participate as a team member/leader on quality, delivery, or cost project(s).
• Knowledge and experience in 6S and process improvement.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Work in a fast-paced environment.
• Work overtime as required.
• Adapt to flexible work assignments.
• Handle delicate components using ESD practices.
• Demonstrate strong decision-making and leadership skills.
