About The Position

Performs functions associated with all supplier quality operations including working with engineers on troubleshooting part manufacturing issues, scanning inventory for containment, confirming part issues in the production assembly atmosphere, and communicating those issues to vendors. This position uses ERP and other software to collect and evaluate data to support the minimization of vendor faults and enable a seamless integration of parts to finished goods. This is a high-level attention to detail position has a growth potential for the right individual.

Requirements

  • Strong team and communication skills. This is a heavily interactive position that involves many teams and people, so verbal and written skills are critical
  • Basic understanding of quality systems/concepts such as dimensions and prints for inspections, the impact of production part flow and interruptions, cost of quality, and the importance of a QMS
  • SAP and/or MES familiarity
  • Familiar with business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP program and productivity software desired
  • High School Degree or equivalent
  • 2+ years of related experience
  • Employee must be able to meet the following requirements with no accommodation. Medium work that will occasionally require employee to lift/move up to 45 lbs.
  • Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or moving heavy equipment and/or supplies occasionally
  • Average agility and dexterity with the ability to hold, grasp and manipulate small parts and inspection tools.
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and handle physical exertion for short periods of time
  • Travel to local sites. Valid driver’s license required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP program and productivity software desired

Responsibilities

  • Assist in tracking Qnote data in excel
  • Assist supplier quality engineers with tasks as needed
  • Maintain cage inventory to match ongoing Qnote date for purchasing and engineering
