About The Position

Our Manufacturing Technicians work with the hardware and software that drive the world’s leading Distracted Driving technology solution, assembling, deploying and supporting a range of fixed and mobile platforms that integrate radar and camera hardware with operating systems and communications software. Our technologies involve equipment installed at the roadside, real time sensor and camera interfaces, decision algorithms, machine learning based detection algorithms, file transfer and monitoring systems, web user interfaces and cloud-based infrastructure. The Acusensus hardware solutions are currently developed and manufactured at our Sydney facility with a plan to bring this production to US shores. You will play a crucial role in the production of our state-of-the-art traffic enforcement systems and transition to US-based manufacturing. You will work closely with our manufacturing lead to maintain efficient manufacturing processes, optimize product quality, and ensure smooth production operations. Requirements

  • Community College or University qualification or trade in either electronic, electrical or computer related fields
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Adaptable and willingness to solve problems without having all the information
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar technical role with demonstrated fault finding and repair skills
  • Proficient in blueprint reading and mechanical knowledge
  • Experience in a manufacturing facility, including assembly line and materials handling
  • Must be comfortable with remote roadside fieldwork, including working at heights
  • Flexibility to travel at short notice on occasion, either regionally (in-state), nationally or internationally
  • Ability to assess impact of incoming requests and prioritise them in a fast paced, high-pressure environment

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and requirements
  • Assemble camera and radar technology to existing fixed and mobile infrastructure
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet established standards
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency
  • Assist in materials handling and assembly line operations as needed
