About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to join our aerospace production team. In this role, you’ll perform hands-on fabrication and structural assembly work, ensuring every part meets strict aerospace standards. You’ll interpret blueprints, use precision tools, and help keep production running smoothly and efficiently. As a Manufacturing Technician, you’ll play a key role in the company’s ongoing commitment to Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and Attitude (QCDSA). Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 0–2 years of related assembly or manufacturing experience.
  • Sheet metal or aerospace fabrication experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 quality standards.
  • Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles a plus.
  • Mechanical aptitude from aerospace, automotive, or motorsports environments.
  • Forklift or material-handling experience preferred (certification required).
  • Proficiency with basic computer systems and material management software.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Safety-focused and committed to high-quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Dependable, organized, and motivated to learn.
  • Able to adapt to changing tasks and priorities.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Adherence to OSHA, NADCAP, ISO9000 / AS9100, ITAR, and FAA regulations.
  • May require internal certifications (Forklift, Slings/Cranes, FPV, Heat Treat).
  • Stand, walk, bend, and reach for 8–12 hours per shift.
  • Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Work in environments with moderate noise, vibration, and temperature changes.
  • Use required PPE (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection).

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical fabrication using hand tools and precision inspection equipment.
  • Work within one or more disciplines: Deburr, Shear, Polish, Saw, Rout.
  • Receive cross-training in Assembly, Brake Forming, Heat Treat, Hot/Press Forming, and more.
  • Follow detailed work instructions, process sheets, and blueprints accurately.
  • Handle delicate aerospace components with care and precision.
  • Conduct basic visual and dimensional inspections on all parts.
  • Accurately complete documentation (routers, inspection logs, process reports).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify issues and improve manufacturability.
