The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for setting up and operating the manufacturing machines and related equipment in a production/processing operation. Monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications. Follow engineering drawings, work order information, manufacturing procedures, SOPs, and other written and verbal specifications in the manufacturing process. Perform manufacturing process and equipment set-up, calibration, testing and inspections. This position reports to the site Supervisor Manufacturing Process Engineer and is part of the manufacturing/production team which is associated with diagnostics located in Nicholasville, Kentucky and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Precision Assembly & Finishing: Mount sensitive optical and jewel materials using waxes and epoxies; fine grind and polish components to micron-level tolerances while maintaining flat tools for optimal results. Inspection & Quality Control: Perform in-process dimensional checks and visual inspections under a microscope to ensure critical dimensions and defect-free components meet specifications. Process & Workplace Excellence: Maintain a clean, organized work area and tools in good condition; recommend and implement process improvements in collaboration with Engineering.
