About The Position

Full time, non-exempt Manufacturing Technician at the Qorvo Bend, Oregon, facility. The primary responsibilities will include all supporting operations for Photolithography and Plating of semiconductor devices. This position works under the direction of the Production Supervisor, but also collaboratively with engineering. Individual must exhibit exceptional multi-tasking skills, adherence to safety requirements, especially regarding chemical handling, data entry and analysis, and be someone who excels best in a small team atmosphere. This position requires wearing personal protective equipment, working in areas with constant background noise, and may require at times: working with chemicals, lifting 50+ lbs., and standing for long periods.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; AA degree or equivalent preferred but not required
  • Experience with test and/or assembly of microelectronic devices, minimum 1 year experience preferred
  • Experience working in fast paced manufacturing and R&D environments recommended
  • Computer skills for Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong sense of leadership, integrity, and work ethic
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and acute attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all company policies, but especially those relating to safety and quality
  • Perform photolithography and plating processes in the manufacturing of semiconductor devices (such as but not limited to: microscopic inspection, coating resist, mask alignment, develop and etch processes, plating wafers, lid arrays, bath analysis, bath maintenance etc.)
  • Follow all procedures and work instructions including system, process, and traveler documents
  • Collect accurate data and record work completed using logs and databases
  • Perform regular PM and calibration tasks for tools and equipment
  • Monitor processes to ensure product fabrication is within control limits
  • Document meticulous notes on tool, process, product performance
  • Consistent, high quality standards with escalation to appropriate personnel when needed
  • Work with engineers to assist with experiments and other tasks as assigned
  • Identify and drive implementation of Continual Improvement projects
  • Ability to learn quickly and eagerness to cross-train in additional areas
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and provide excellent internal customer service
