About The Position

The Manufacturing Technician (Environmental Support) works as part of the manufacturing team to deliver high quality therapeutics. The Environment Support Team is responsible for cleaning and sanitization of all controlled areas (CNC and all graded areas) of the facility, including all equipment. The facility and equipment sanitization processes consist of the application of multiple disinfectants in which disinfectant efficacy is supported through efficacy and coupon studies. The sanitization of all graded areas and equipment is documented via an electronic batch record system. This team is critical to ensuring that the Manufacturing Environment is consistently maintained in a state of microbial control as to ensure adherence to Manufacturing schedule deliverables. Requirements

  • Minimum, High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Perform the cleaning/sanitation of the manufacturing areas (unclassified and classified areas) and equipment in accordance with all FDBC procedures
  • Execute cleaning and sanitization of the manufacturing facility and equipment in a manner consistent with the safety policies, quality systems, and GMP requirements
  • Assist the team with maintaining an up-to-date working inventory for the equipment/supplies (i.e. gowning, cleaning material, etc.)
  • Perform various 'housekeeping' activities. (i.e., keeping work areas clean, cleaning of equipment)
  • Document and review appropriate paperwork, daily logs, and documentation per Good Documentation Practices, to include electronic documentation
  • Maintain compliance to training requirements
  • Assist and or identify continuous improvements of cleaning procedures/equipment
  • Perform tasks in a manner consistent with the safety policies, quality systems, and GMP requirements
  • Under supervision, support document revisions of cleaning and sanitization procedures
  • Support development and execution of studies and protocols related to environmental controls
