Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous Manufacturing Experience
  • Prior “hands-on” mechanical assembly experience using hand tools and automated equipment required.
  • Ability to carefully follow written standard operating procedures (SOPs), document production details accurately, and interpret quality control results for final product release.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to successfully work in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior documented experience working in a controlled environment (ISO 13485, ISO 9001, or FDA Quality Management Systems) preferred.
  • Inventory control experience and Shipping/Receiving experience desirable.

Responsibilities

  • The Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for performing mechanical assembly as part of pilot-scale manufacturing of disposable medical devices.
  • Responsible for safely and correctly operating chemical, automated and assembly equipment.
  • Correctly package product and prepare for shipment.
  • Visually inspect “in process” and “final” product assemblies to ensure quality of product.
  • Participate in inventory counts and audits; communicate findings from assigned tasks.
  • Able to effectively operate at two or more workstations in the manufacturing area.
  • Other duties as assigned.
