Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Previous Manufacturing Experience
Prior “hands-on” mechanical assembly experience using hand tools and automated equipment required.
Ability to carefully follow written standard operating procedures (SOPs), document production details accurately, and interpret quality control results for final product release.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to successfully work in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

Prior documented experience working in a controlled environment (ISO 13485, ISO 9001, or FDA Quality Management Systems) preferred.
Inventory control experience and Shipping/Receiving experience desirable.

Responsibilities

The Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for performing mechanical assembly as part of pilot-scale manufacturing of disposable medical devices.
Responsible for safely and correctly operating chemical, automated and assembly equipment.
Correctly package product and prepare for shipment.
Visually inspect “in process” and “final” product assemblies to ensure quality of product.
Participate in inventory counts and audits; communicate findings from assigned tasks.
Able to effectively operate at two or more workstations in the manufacturing area.
Other duties as assigned.
