About The Position

The Role: Our site in Bedford, MA is seeking a manufacturing Operator II or III to join our team. This will be on 3rd Shift with core hours 10PM to 6.30AM and will be working with other team players in our ESC operations group. You would need to be available to train on 1st or 2nd shift for up to 3 months before moving to 3rd shift. This role will involve cleaning (mainly using IPA, Acetone, and Brulin), inspecting, and measuring as well as wet etch operations to accomplish build and assembly of echucks and other coated products. This role should be willing to cross train, work overtime and support other work areas to support business needs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Minimum of 1yr manufacturing experience (Machine operation, a plus)
  • Able to work 3rd Shifts and Overtime including weekends when needed.
  • Able to work around chemicals (including but not limited to IPA, Acetone, FeCl, HCL)
  • Fluency in English is required for training purposes
  • Able to life 40lbs and stand for most of the shift
  • Ability to use microscope
  • Ability to work in clean room
  • Computer Skills (SAP/CamLine a plus)
  • Flexibility to be trained and cross trained in other departments
  • Ability to repetitively pinch and grasp hand tools such as air guns.

Responsibilities

  • Always follow safety best practices and wear the required PPE while on the production or work floor.
  • Perform part assembly and wet etch operations involving various chemistries such as IPA, acetone, Brulin, hydrochloric acid, ferric acid, etc.
  • Follow established procedures to clean ceramics, insulators, shipping sets, and metal bases (echuck assemblies) according to the priorities set by your lead.
  • Communicate task completions and any delays to your lead promptly.
  • Inspect and measure ceramics for defects after cleaning, following documented procedures.
  • Conduct visual and metrology-based inspections of parts in accordance with quality guidelines.
  • Follow the Response Flow Checklist when dispositioning nonconformances.
  • Adhere to all work instructions and accurately complete work orders and required documentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment by following all Entegris 6S standards.
  • Enter confirmations in SAP for completed work and log inspection and production data in Camline.
  • Actively participate in shift pass downs to ensure clear communication on safety, quality, and production priorities.
  • Provide process improvement feedback to Engineers when applicable.
  • Uphold and promote Entegris PACE Values in all daily activities.
