Manufacturing Team Members (First Shift)

The Manufacturing Technician will apply various machining and/or weld technologies and skills to ensure quality & timely completion of work orders. Requirements
- Manufacturing/Industrial environment exposure preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent or at least 1-year experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety procedures, SOPs, and other instruction manuals.
- Take the initiative to keep all areas clean and safe.
- Follow applicable housekeeping and safety procedures.
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 55 pounds each on a consistent base, with the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. with assistance as needed, at heights from floor level to 4 feet high.
- Provides assistance to others in moving heavier or bulky objects.
- Must wear personal protective equipment - ear plugs, steel toe shoes and protective glasses and all other PPE as required.
- Maintains a high level of accuracy in all aspects of work assignments.

Responsibilities
- Operates various machinery (mix of new and old) used to produce Grip-Tite parts and products.
- Works in a variety of manufacturing cells that utilize saws, drills, welders, plasma cutters, punches, robots, etc.
- May be trained on stamping presses or laser operations.
- May operate a forklift as needed.
- Maintains equipment and work areas. Keeps area clean and free of safety hazards.
- Must be able to fill out required paperwork completely and accurately.
- Must have a positive attitude and ensure and holds oneself accountable to work as one team to ensure Grip-Tite's overall success.
- Must be reliable and work with safety in mind.
