Job Scope The Manufacturing Technician, Reagents will be responsible for encompassing responsibilities of routine maintenance/calibration of equipment, cleaning of production areas, cleaning of lab ware/glassware, assisting in waste workflows, maintaining stockroom/storage areas, performing cycle counts, material staging for production, material transactions, and performing archiving of quality records and will have participation in kitting/labeling processes and preparation of some reagents.

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma High school diploma required
  • 1+ Years Some work experience in a Life Sciences, Chemistry, Bio/Mechanical, or Medical Technology related industry preferable in an FDA regulated and/or ISO certified operation

  • Bachelor's Degree Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, process engineering or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Performs maintenance and calibration of equipment and systems
  • Schedules external maintenance and calibration of equipment
  • Performs regular cleaning of production areas
  • Performs lab ware/glassware cleaning
  • Assists in waste management and chemical/biohazard disposal
  • Maintains stockrooms and focused material storage within production areas
  • Stages material for production; Performs timely and accurate inventory cycle counts
  • Performs timely and accurate inventory-based transactions in Oracle
  • Performs scanning and archiving of quality records; Assists in kitting and labeling processes
  • May perform preparation of low complexity reagents
  • Other duties as assigned.
