About The Position

We are a long-standing, family-owned company comprised of three closely held businesses, seeking a Manufacturing Technician – Process Planner to support our manufacturing operations. The Manufacturing Technician – Process Planner will support development and optimization production processes, the creation of clear and effective manufacturing documentation, and ongoing efforts to maintain quality and operational efficiency from design through final assembly.

Requirements

Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solid Edge, AutoCAD, or similar) required.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
This position is subject to the FAA/DOT pre-employment and random drug screening program.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as machining and assembly preferred.
Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.
Ability to learn CNC and robotic programming may offer opportunities for rapid growth within the role.

Responsibilities

Develop and document production procedures and basic tooling for metal part processing.
Design part‑holding, testing, and masking fixtures using Solid Edge.
Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance workflow efficiency and manufacturability.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure processes meet quality and customer requirements.
