About The Position

The Manufacturing Technician position at Jireh Semiconductor involves performing various functions associated with wafer production operations, including photolithography, thin film, etch, BGBM, and diffusion. The role requires the technician to operate and evaluate process and metrology equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and cleanroom protocols while maintaining accurate data entry for process assessment.

Requirements

• No experience required, but an AA Degree or higher is preferred.
• 1 year or more experience is preferred.
• Basic computer skills needed for automated process controls.
• Ability to make calculations for data entry to SPC controls.
• Ability to visually inspect wafers, pods, and process tools.

Nice To Haves

• Certified on RAT and proficient at STR processing.
• Certified on all toolsets Major and Minor within Tool set.
• Eligible for additional duties such as Engineering Dispo Tech, Lead, Technician.

Responsibilities

• Operates & evaluates all process and metrology equipment within assigned area after certification.
• Assures equipment meets all qualification and maintenance schedules before processing product.
• Evaluates product and qualification wafers through measurement and visual inspection.
• Responsible for accurate data entry into workstream system for SPC controls assessment.
• Escalates product and qualification wafer failures to engineering for evaluation.
• Escalates process or metrology equipment errors to technicians for repair.
• Follows safe work practices and escalates safety violations to supervisor.
• Responsible for proper disposal of waste generated on site according to Cleanroom Protocol.

Benefits
