Position Summary The Manufacturing Technician – Machining & Laser Engraving supports production by manufacturing precision components used in industrial equipment. This role operates machining and laser engraving equipment to produce high-quality parts while maintaining safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

Requirements

• Technical training in machining, manufacturing, or equivalent experience
• Experience operating lathes
• Familiarity with precision measurement tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Basic understanding of machining principles and shop safety practices

Nice To Haves

• Experience with cylindrical grinding or balancing machines
• Experience operating laser engraving equipment is a plus
• Manufacturing or industrial equipment background

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual or semi-automatic lathes to machine precision components
• Perform machining tasks
• Set up and operate laser engraving equipment
• Interpret drawings, work orders, blueprints, and CAD files
• Select tools, prepare materials, and secure workpieces
• Adjust machine and laser parameters to meet specifications
• Perform inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools
• Conduct test runs and verify finished parts meet quality requirements
• Assemble machined components as required
• Maintain equipment through daily cleaning, lubrication, and basic upkeep
• Follow all safety, PPE, and HSE requirements
• Assist production with assembling additional equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
