About The Position

The Role: Entegris is currently seeking a talented and motivated Manufacturing Technician to join its Gas Operations Specialty Coatings team in Danbury, CT. This person would work as a key member supporting the ALD coatings production processes in a cleanroom environment. Danbury Specialty Gas Operations is a dynamic and often fast paced environment where safety is paramount. This candidate would be someone who enjoys being part of a strong team, is dedicated to continuous improvement, and has some experience safely working with hazardous materials, while maintaining a focus on meeting and exceeding production goals.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3 + years' experience in manufacturing or technical environment preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and close attention to detail required
  • Familiarity with hazardous materials, chemistries
  • Familiarity with SAP, CamLine, basic computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams such as Engineering, Quality and R&D to support optimization activities
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience working with hazardous materials, chemistries
  • Proficient with SAP, CamLine, basic computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Support ALD coatings division, performing various activities in a cleanroom environment
  • Complete coatings operations to meet required production needs
  • Adhere strictly to laboratory safety processes, standard operating procedures, and work instructions in laboratory and cleanroom environments
  • Ensure product quality specifications are maintained throughout the production process
  • Assist in tool maintenance and perform routine PMs
  • Off hours or weekend work as needed
  • Support additional manufacturing activities as needed
  • Demonstrates an aptitude and dedication to safety excellence
