Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience using basic welding electrical and mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Basic hydraulic and electrical skills in a manufacturing environment are required.
  • Ability to read blueprints is required.
  • Experience in fluid power industry and/or manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Basic hydraulic and electrical skills in a manufacturing environment are required.
  • Ability to read blueprints is required.
  • Forklift Certification to drive a forklift, including RAYMOND upright, is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience using basic welding electrical and mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Experience in fluid power industry and/or manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Knows and fills in for or supports any of the various hourly positions using general mechanical and electrical skills and specific skills in assembly, painting, washing, welding equipment operations, shipping/receiving, product testing and storeroom.
  • Operates machines and tools, including but not limited to: band saws, plasma cutter, various gas cutting equipment, stick welder, mig welder, magnetic drills, grinder, drill presses, and jib and overhead cranes, portable hydraulic circuit tester, amprobe, voltage and OHM meters, strobe light and a variety of hand tools, hydraulic hose crimping machine, welding robot and occasional micrometer usage.
  • Assembles and tests manufactured products.
  • Performs repairs and calibration of products.
  • Performs work in accordance with work orders, bills of material and product Engineering designs, schematics (both electrical and hydraulic) and various specification.
  • Records test results and as-built features when not standard.
  • Works with Engineering on prototype development projects.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
