We’re looking for a Manufacturing Laser Equipment Technician II to join our Fremont, CA Day Shift Laser Operations Team. We have an opening for: Mon-Fri with standard hours from 5:45AM-2:15PM. As a uniquely qualified candidate, you will: Be an advocate for safety in the laser production area Troubleshoot laser systems (laser engine, motion system, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic components) Perform laser system set up of manufacturing lots by following work instructions and equipment operating procedures Understand and maintain (if needed) process documentation (Work Instructions, Drawings, and Operating Manuals). Regularly report on laser system status, assigned project status Support the team in maintaining consumable and spare components in the laser stock room Be a highly effective communicator of technical status and any production floor issues. Must enjoy team approach over individual contributions. Support and enforce company goals and objectives, policies and procedures. Requirements

  • High school diploma with a minimum of 3 years of related work experience or equivalent required.
  • Intimate knowledge of laser alignment, equipment usage and safety required.
  • Must be proficient in using computer and Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
  • Strong communication skills – both written and oral
  • Comfortable using basic hand tools

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in laser technology a plus.
