The Manufacturing Technician I will support day-to-day production of electronic displays and controllers by performing a variety of tasks including equipment operation, inspection, troubleshooting, and documentation. This is an entry-level, hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and a commitment to quality and safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Looking for highly motivated people who love to learn. This is a Safety Sensitive Position. Shift: This is a first shift position. The work schedule is Monday-Thursday, 5:00am to 3:30pm.

  • Perform work in accordance with standard procedures, specifications, and test instructions.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineering, software solutions, mechanical and electrical engineering to support day-to-day production and root cause activities.
  • Serve as the “First Line of Defense” for production by troubleshooting production issues with an extreme sense of urgency, escalating issues as needed.
  • Self-check work after completion using precision measuring instruments to ensure it is complete per drawing/work instructions.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of defective electronics, electrical, and mechanical systems and support corrective actions activities to address those quality issues.
  • Provide maintenance support to assigned production lines by maintaining equipment and machinery and perform preventive maintenance as required.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety procedures and policies.
  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent (i.e., GED).
  • Comfortable with the use of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Able to triage electronics that may have an electrical or mechanical issue.
  • The willingness and ability to learn and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • 2 years of manufacturing, assembly, or repair experience or technical training (preferred).
  • Experience interpreting technical documents, electronic schematics, engineering drawings, and wiring lists (preferred).
  • Strong soldering and/or wiring skills (preferred).
