About The Position

We are looking for a Manufacturing Technician to join our Chattanooga Team. This position is either for 2nd or 3rd Shift. As a uniquely qualified candidate, you will: Perform post-processing operations including, but not limited to, mandrel removal, flushing, pressure testing, baking, and associated product testing Inspect product per specifications using specified measuring equipment Read, follow, and accurately complete all provided documentation (product drawings, work procedures, process logs, etc.) Have some computer proficiency with a willingness to learn computer systems required to perform job responsibilities Work with engineering to generate clear and concise work instructions, test methods, and visual standards Be able to prioritize effectively and manage multiple process responsibilities Demonstrate personal initiative and the ability to effectively execute tasks independently Follow good manufacturing practices (GMP): line clearance, work instructions, documentation, etc. Work with engineering to streamline process to meet manufacturing build time, cost, and yield targets Work with and train other skilled technicians/operators in the manufacturing techniques, inspection methods, and required documentation Communicate issues to engineering for collaborative continuous improvement Be willing to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and have ability to modify work shift as needed by business conditions Perform other duties as required Applying materials science to MedTech innovation. Requirements

  • Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two-years related experience
  • Extremely hands on with some mechanical aptitude
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of good manufacturing practices (GMP)
  • Strong attention to detail, professional attitude, team player
  • Lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
  • Proof of 20/20 or better vision, unaided or corrected
  • Ability and in interest in working 2nd or 3rd Shift
