Manufacturing Technician 1: Urethane Pour Technician
About The Position
ABBA Roller is seeking a Urethane Pour Technician – Level 1 to support the manufacturing of urethane wheels used in industrial applications. This role is responsible for preparing molds, mixing and pouring urethane materials, and ensuring product quality throughout the curing process. This is a hands-on manufacturing role ideal for individuals with production, assembly, or machine operation experience who are interested in learning specialized urethane processing. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, or production experience preferred but not required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with molds, resins, adhesives, or similar materials is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow work instructions and process documentation.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare molds for urethane wheel production by cleaning, inspecting, and applying mold release agents.
- Measure, mix, and pour urethane material into molds following work instructions and production specifications.
- Monitor curing processes to ensure proper material bonding and product integrity.
- Remove finished parts from molds and perform basic trimming and finishing as required.
- Inspect parts visually for defects such as air pockets, incomplete fill, or surface imperfections.
- Maintain documentation of production runs and material usage.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety and quality procedures.
- Communicate production status and issues with supervisors and team members.
- Assist other production areas when needed.
