Base is seeking a Manufacturing Technical Program Manager to drive the planning, coordination, and execution of programs that bring new manufacturing lines, equipment, and processes into production for our battery storage systems. In this role, you will partner closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Equipment Design, Quality, Supply Chain, Facilities, and Production Operations to translate product and process requirements into actionable program plans, then deliver them on aggressive timelines. You will create clarity in fast-moving environments, anticipate risks, and ensure that every team remains aligned as we scale from prototype builds to high-volume U.S. manufacturing.

  • Lead cross-functional program execution for new manufacturing lines, equipment deployments, and process ramps from early concept through SOP
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed project schedules, spanning process development, validation builds, equipment design and fabrication, FAT/SAT, installation, and production readiness
  • Drive alignment and accountability with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Facilities, Equipment Design, Supply Chain, and Production to ensure program milestones are met
  • Coordinate equipment and tooling delivery including supplier timelines, shipment logistics, installation sequencing, and commissioning activities
  • Identify program risks early, perform mitigation planning, and surface clear recommendations to technical and non-technical partners
  • Build and improve program management processes and tools that accelerate execution, enhance transparency, and scale with the company’s rapid factory expansion
  • Track and manage program budgets, equipment readiness status, and cost improvements related to each manufacturing initiative
  • Translate complex technical information into clear, concise updates for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
  • 4+ years of experience in manufacturing program management, manufacturing engineering, equipment engineering, or new product introduction (NPI)
  • Strong ability to work across technical disciplines and communicate effectively with engineers, operators, suppliers, and leadership
  • Experience launching manufacturing lines, scaling processes, or bringing new automated equipment into production
  • Demonstrated success managing fast-paced programs, resolving competing priorities, and driving execution in ambiguous environments
  • Highly organized mindset with exceptional attention to detail and a bias for action
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience in manufacturing environments
