About The Position

The Manufacturing Technical Leader at Becton Dickinson & Company is responsible for overseeing maintenance processes, investigating and resolving equipment breakdowns, and implementing maintenance standards for designated product lines. This role involves training operators in maintenance tasks, supporting continuous improvement projects, and ensuring optimal equipment reliability and safety performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any discipline).
• Two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
• Experience with Rockwell Automation Software.
• Knowledge of Servo Motion Controls Systems such as Kinetix Servo drives and Sinamics.
• Experience in developing and programming Vision Systems such as Cognex.
• Familiarity with product and parts identification including RFID and Barcoding.
• Experience with Pneumatics and electropneumatic systems.
• Knowledge of Ultrasonic welding processes.
• Experience in developing URS, FAT, SAT, IQ, and OQ validation protocols.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve issues related to loss (breakdown, waste, speed).
• Develop and implement maintenance standards and processes for designated product lines.
• Train operators in maintenance skills, including developing training materials and facilitating instruction.
• Utilize systematic problem-solving techniques to address repeat loss issues.
• Support continuous improvement projects and validations to enhance equipment reliability.
• Engage with operators and technicians to optimize Daily Task Maintenance and Planned Preventative Maintenance.
• Provide detailed reports to the Reliability Leader based on maintenance outcomes and activities.
• Maintain critical equipment settings and standards, documenting changes accurately.
• Record maintenance details and spare parts used during maintenance activities.
