Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used in the production of mass timber products. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality. Job Description: Responsibilities Operate machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing process of mass timber products. Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Assist in the setup and calibration of machinery and equipment for different production runs. Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and workflow. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including sweeping, dusting, and disposing of waste materials. Keep accurate records of production activities, including materials used, production output, and equipment maintenance. Complete other responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in manufacturing or related field preferred. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery. Basic computer skills for recording production data and operating machinery interfaces. This position will initially be administered through an external agency for a minimum of 90 days and upon satisfactory completion of this timeframe we will transition to a role directly employed by TImberlab.
