Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is looking for you to join our team as a Manufacturing Technician 1/ Manufacturing Tech 2 based out of Clearfield, UT. This position will support our A shift (4/10’s schedule, WEEKDAYS) production. This role can be filled at a Manufacturing Technician Level 1 or Manufacturing Technician Level 2 depending on the qualifications below.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
  • Ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work including bending, stooping, kneeling, carrying tools, lifting up to 35 pounds and working overhead.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Must successfully complete and pass the 'ASTAR New Hire Training / Compliance' within a reasonable time period.

Nice To Haves

  • Composite experience and/or certification.
  • Aerospace assembly experience.
  • Demonstrated ability using standard measuring equipment and power hand tools.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, technical specifications and operating procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Work on the next generation composite structures.
  • Fabricate composite hardware using a variety of methods such as hand layup, bonding, assembly, trimming and final finishing.
  • Develop skills to competently perform tasks designed to produce product that meet customer expectations.
  • Perform tasks in team environments or individually.
