Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Follow all GMP and SOP’s as defined by Medtronic policies, practices and procedures to insure that FDA and ISO regulations and quality standards are met. Respond to line calls in a professional, safe, and timely manner. Maintain and sustain the daily operation of production machines and fixtures with goal of zero downtime. Performs nearly all repairs needed, suggests, implements solutions to equipment issues Prepare and set up equipment when required. Perform regular preventive maintenance on equipment through the company software program. Document corrective maintenance through the company software program. Dismantle, repair or replace devices using hand tools and power tools. Consult, collaborate and follow up with other maintenance techs, engineering and manufacturing employees to identify and resolve all maintenance issues in a timely manner. Communicate and collaborate with eternal vendors. Maintain 5S environment in work area(s) and maintenance shop. Follow required lock out/tag out procedures and all other safety requirements. Test devices and machines to determine performance levels. Document results of testing and/or trouble shooting. Identify the root cause of manufacturing equipment problems and implement corrective action. Troubleshoot & service minor to complex electrical machine controls and circuits. Identify and improve safety issues within the production areas.
