At MECC, we design, develop, and manufacture critical components for medical devices such as pacemakers, neurostimulators, implantable cardio-defibrillators, and insulin pumps. As a member of the Business Intelligence Team, you will play a vital role in supporting manufacturing operations used in these life-changing devices. You'll work both independently and collaboratively, principally supporting FACTORYworks administrative duties and tasks.

Requirements

  • Requires minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Requires high school diploma, or equivalent.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, and Visio.
  • Experience with POD creation and changes.

  • Basic knowledge in data collection and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Devises, fabricates, installs, tests, and repairs mechanical equipment and systems involving the movement of physical components in the manufacturing area.
  • Assisting engineers with developing technical solutions related to the operation and performance of devices and systems.
  • Installs, repairs, and upgrades components of mechanical devices and systems in the manufacturing area.
  • Devises, fabricates, and assembles new or modified mechanical components for machinery and equipment.
  • Conducts quality assurance/control tests and procedures.
  • Plans, performs and implements process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma).
  • Diagrams and evaluates existing processes.
  • Organizes, leads and facilitates cross-functional project teams.
  • Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.
  • Collects data to identify root cause of problems.
  • Measures performance against process requirements.
  • Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls.
  • Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.
